The Centre will strengthen the existing training courses for conservation managers and technicians offered by Dali University as well as establish new core training programs for scientific researchers to enhance their ability to collect and report data on biodiversity, ecosystem’s health, and sustainable conservation management. These new training programs will focus on the use of GIS data collection, mapping, and analytical tools, modeling approaches and multivariate statistical methods, and scientific writing to enhance research quality in China and its neighboring countries throughout Southeast Asia.
