Behavioral variation and flexibility of snub-nosed monkeys (Rhinopithecus spp.)

This dissertation explores the behavioral variation and flexibility of snub-nosed monkeys (Ropithecus spp.) in high-elevation habitats, which feature colder, drier climates and vegetation. Typically, colobine monkeys prioritize energy conservation through resting, but snub-nosed monkeys may need to adopt energy-maximizing behaviors to survive in these challenging environments.
