Director: Li Bao-Guo (baoguoli@nwu.edu.cn), Northwest University

Professor Li has been extensitvely involved with primate ecology, behavior, evolution and conservation, and environmental protection in China, commenced in the early 1980s. Such comments made him published more than 100 journal publications, and become him a famous primatologist and conservationist nationally and internationally. He is now the President of the China Primatological Society; Committee Member of IUCN/SSC Primate Specialist Group; Vice-President of the Chinese Society of Zoology; Editorial Boards of Primates, Current Zoology and Integrative Zoology. He has also extensively involved with administration and management of China’s sciences, animal conservation and education development through his appointments of Dean of College of Life Sciences, Northwest University, and Vice President of Xi'an Branch of Chinese Academy of Science.
