Director: Pan Ru-Liang (ruliang.pan@nwu.edu.cn)

Professor Pan received BSc in Zoology and Biology from Yunnan University, China, and a Ph.D. in Primatology and Human Biology at the University of Western Australia (UWA), Australia. His academic career went through the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the UWA, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and Northwest University, Xian, China. His research interests include zoology, primate ecology, behavior, evolution, and conservation – which allowed him to have published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal publications with more than 40 scholars in China, Australia, the UK, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and South Africa. Thus, he is very experienced in establishing and managing international cooperation and reaching the goals desired.
